About DotHouse Health

DotHouse Health, formerly known as Dorchester House, is a Boston-based health center that performs addiction treatment services. The center is based in Dorchester and has been a pillar of the community for over 126 years. The facility has been accredited by the Joint Commission for meeting and exceeding national standards for healthcare delivery, including in the area of substance use disorder treatment. It is also certified by the National Committee for Quality Assurance.

While not a drug rehab center per se, DotHouse offers quality care for substance use disorder through its Behavioral Health department. As a full-service health center, the facility is also able to address all of the common physical and mental health issues associated with different types and severities of substance use disorder.

Notably, DotHouse can treat uninsured or low-income individuals. It is also affiliated with Boston Medical Center, Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Children’s Hospital and Massachusetts General Hospital, and many others.

What does DotHouse offer?

DotHouse Health offers comprehensive services for mental health conditions, including substance use disorder. Outpatient and emergency services are available through DotHouse, as well as support for co-existing disorders. Emergency services can include a detox for those preparing to go into an outpatient rehab program at DotHouse, or an affiliated residential program.

DotHouse has a specific mission to serve Dorcester’s least fortunate and most underserved. Consequently, the facility offers support in a wide selection of languages, including but not limited to French, Vietnamese, and Spanish. It also has a wide selection of payment options available, including for people with no insurance or low income.

Overall, DotHouse is an excellent choice for people who need treatment but lack the means to afford the cost of other rehab programs. Start your recovery by contacting DotHouse Health at dothousehealth.org/services/behavioral_health.html.

How It Works

For those seeking addiction treatment for themselves or a loved one, our calls are confidential and are available for 24/7 help.

Calls from your area will be answered by Legacy Healing Center, and network of treatment centers who can be found here www.rehabsnearyoudisclosures.com

We are available 24/7 to discuss your treatment options. Our representatives work for a treatment center and will discuss whether their facility may be an option for you.

These calls are offered at no cost to you and with no obligation to enter into treatment. Neither this site nor anyone who answers the call receives a commission or fee dependent upon which treatment provider a visitor may ultimately choose.

If you wish to explore additional treatment options or connect with a specific rehab center, you can: browse top-rated listings, visit our homepage, or visit SAMHSA, at www.samhsa.gov, or by calling 800-662-HELP.
