About Hope House Addiction Services

Hope House Addiction services, better known as “Hope House”, is the oldest residential drug rehab facility in Greater Boston. It primarily caters to the needs of adults with substance use disorder (SUD).

The 35,000 square foot facility is located in the Crosstown Section of the New Market neighborhood of Boston, on the Roxbury/South End line. This makes it highly accessible to people from all over the Greater Boston Area. Hope House is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF International) and duly licensed by the Massachusetts Department of Public Health (DPH).

The facility has been instrumental in furthering the practice of treating SUD as an illness rather than a moral failing, a radical idea in mid-20th century Boston. From one man who committed to helping three alcoholics at a time in his apartment in 1956, the mission and reach of Hope House have grown over the past few decades to encompass several buildings and help hundreds of individuals at a time.

Services offered at Hope House

Hope House offers residential and outpatient programs as well as transitional housing for individuals that have completed a previous recovery program. It offers standard medication-assisted therapy (MAT) as well as counseling and therapy in group and individual settings.

The types of therapy and support that will be received by participants at each of Hope House’s programs are highly individualized and depends on the evaluations made by attending clinicians. Hope House also accepts walk-ins and criminal justice referrals. All services are available to men, women, and transgender individuals over 18.

Calls from your area will be answered by Legacy Healing Center, and network of treatment centers who can be found here www.rehabsnearyoudisclosures.com

We are available 24/7 to discuss your treatment options. Our representatives work for a treatment center and will discuss whether their facility may be an option for you.

These calls are offered at no cost to you and with no obligation to enter into treatment. Neither this site nor anyone who answers the call receives a commission or fee dependent upon which treatment provider a visitor may ultimately choose.

If you wish to explore additional treatment options or connect with a specific rehab center, you can: browse top-rated listings, visit our homepage, or visit SAMHSA, at www.samhsa.gov, or by calling 800-662-HELP.
