About Whole Living Center

Whole Living Center is a psychiatric treatment group that specializes in individual, couples, and family psychotherapy. It operates two Cambridge locations, one at Harvard Square and another at Central Square.

While it does not specialize in drug rehab per se, the therapists at Whole Living Center are qualified to offer psychiatric care and therapy for people recovering from substance use disorders. The facilities offer excellent continuing care and counseling services for individuals who have completed residential programs at other Boston drug rehab centers.

What does Whole Living Center do?

Whole Living Center tries to shake off cliches that many of us associate with psychiatric facilities. The therapists and other clinicians at Whole Living Center offer appropriate guidance and comfort to patients within a warm and inviting environment. Whole Living Center serves adolescents, adults, and older adults of all genders throughout their journey toward sobriety.

Therapists at the two facilities use a wide variety of psychotherapeutic approaches to be able to provide effective addiction treatment to patients. Because the center does not currently have inpatient or intensive outpatient programs, the services lean more towards psychotherapy and counseling. This means that the services at Whole Living may be more appropriate for those who have previously completed a substance rehab program or those diagnosed with a mild addiction.

At Whole Living Center, patients will get a treatment plan that is designed uniquely for them. The approaches and components of the treatment program will be determined after a patient assessment has taken place. Dialectical-behavioral, cognitive-behavioral, and art therapy are just three of the approaches that could be expected at the center.

Unlike many other rehabs and psychiatric care facilities, Whole Living Center is committed to making sure recovering individuals are comfortable with their therapists. Patients can also easily rebook with a different therapist, should they not feel comfortable with the first one assigned to them.

Find help for substance use disorder

Therapists at Whole Living Center make it a point to help individuals recovering from substance use disorders reclaim their lives. This often means addressing more than than just the drug-taking behavior but also the underlying issues that may have caused it. Fortunately, the clinicians at both Whole Living facilities are fully-training in handling dual-diagnosis cases as well.

How It Works

For those seeking addiction treatment for themselves or a loved one, our calls are confidential and are available for 24/7 help.

Calls from your area will be answered by Legacy Healing Center, and network of treatment centers who can be found here www.rehabsnearyoudisclosures.com

We are available 24/7 to discuss your treatment options. Our representatives work for a treatment center and will discuss whether their facility may be an option for you.

These calls are offered at no cost to you and with no obligation to enter into treatment. Neither this site nor anyone who answers the call receives a commission or fee dependent upon which treatment provider a visitor may ultimately choose.

If you wish to explore additional treatment options or connect with a specific rehab center, you can: browse top-rated listings, visit our homepage, or visit SAMHSA, at www.samhsa.gov, or by calling 800-662-HELP.
